A Summer Event Not to Miss August 10, 11 & 12
The Sheepdog Trials held in Kingston have been named one of Ontario's Top 100
Festivals and Events for the fifth year in a row. And, this year, the event was also recognized by receiving the Festival and Events Ontario Achievement Award for
Best Promotional Poster.
On top of all the awards, the annual event is celebrating its 25th Anniversary as apart of the community. These trials are the third largest in North American and can be seen no further than Kingston, Ontario!
"We are thrilled that the Trials continue to delight Ontarians and so proud of our tireless event organizers who manage to pull together this multi-faceted homegrown event every year. It puts us on the map," says Lynda Breen, Supervisor, Recreation Programs.
Kingston will also play host to the Canadian National Championship event in
conjunction with the trials, which regularly attract several thousand
spectators to enjoy the competition and many exciting side-attractions
at Kingston's Grass Creek Park on a summer weekend.
