Life Kingston Jazz Festival will bring big names centre stage.
Time to enjoy the sweet sounds of Jazz
Taking place from Thursday, June 21, to Saturday, June 23 this
three-day festival is a collaboration between the Grand Theatre,
Kingston Arts Council, Kingston Jazz Society and the Skeleton Park Music
Festival.
Featuring both large stage and intimate performances by world
renowned names like Joe Lovano and Dave Douglas, Sophie Milman and
Jerry Granelli to name a few. Musicians and audiences alike will
experience the unbridled energy and emotional beauty that is at the core
of this musical art form.
The
Empire Life Kingston Jazz Festival will present a riveting series of
evening concerts and after-hours sessions. Concerts will be held at the
Grand Theatre's Regina Rosen Auditorium with cabaret-style,
intimate performances following in the Baby Grand on Friday and Saturday
evenings.
Skeleton Park Music Festival
Families can partake in the free Porch Jazz walk throughout
Sydenham Ward on Saturday afternoon followed by a concert as part of the
Skeleton Park Music Festival.
