The 4th Annual Kingston Unplugged Concert went off without a hitch over the weekend on Saturday. The concert corresponded with Earth Hour and encouraged the public to turn their lights off between 8:30 p.m. And 9:30 p.m. This global event is to acknowledge the impact we as a society have on climate change. The event packed a great sized crowd with over 1000 people in attendance, making this concert the best yet. It is reported the province achieved a four per cent drop in electrical consumption over an average Saturday in March. No matter what the decrease, this event acts as a global gesture for everyone to get involved. For ways to go beyond the hour and get involved visit Earth Hour
