Visit the Oldest Market in Ontario

Nice Weather = Markets Open!

It's almost time to enjoy Kingston's market square in the heart of downtown. The public market was first established in 1801, creating a meeting place within the limestone city. Since then, Springer Market Square remains the focus of downtown as a place for locals and visitors to gather.

The historic market operates Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 6AM to 6PM. You can expect to find the best local produce, prepared foods, plants, flowers, crafts and art. Purchase food and goods directly from the fascinating people who make them. Also, don't forget about Sundays downtown, the market changes to an antique show!

Take a Load Off

Portable bistro tables, chairs and green umbrellas should be up soon for market visitors to take a break from their downtown exertion. Pick up some quality homegrown food and have a picnic!
