Kingston Takeovers Town Restaurant in Ottawa

Foodies Meet Kingston

On Monday, September 22, 2012 we brought a taste of Kingston, Ontario to Ottawa, spreading the word on the hidden gem that is local dining in the limestone city. It was a night of fabulous wine, tremendous people, conversation and food that could not been fresher.

We traveled to Town restaurant downtown Ottawa to take it over for the evening by one of our famous Kingston chefs. Clark Day, of Aqua Terra by Clark headlined the takeover, performing like a true artist. Clark's passion for local and fresh food bursts through ever bite of the five course meal he and his expert team prepared.

Here's what the crowd got to enjoy;

The first taste was Amuse Bouche which kicked off the five course meal!

First Course:

Kaffir lime and holy basil fresh cheese served with Prince Edward County heirloom tomato salad. The homemade cheese was superbly prepared by a local vendor and the taste reflected the hard work.
