Fun for Kids this March Break with Busytown Busy!

Richard Scarry’s Busytown Busy comes to life at The Grand Theatre March 11th. In a brand new live production, The Grand Theatre presents the theatrical debut of a longstanding classic whose best-selling books and television series have been enjoyed by families for over 50 years. For the first time ever, Richard Scarry’s Busytown will take the stage and become larger than life! Families will enjoy this live production on Sunday, March 11 at 2:30PM. Come at 1:30PM for storytime and then make your own “Lowly the Worm” bookmark to take home. Then try to find all the different characters from Huckle Cat to Pig Will in a scavenger hunt throughout the Grand Theatre.

Richard Scarry’s Busytown: Busytown Busy captures the incredible world of Richard Scarry and follows the adventures of Huckle Cat, Sally Cat, Lowly Worm, Sergeant Murphy, and many of their unforgettable friends. Busytown will be hosting a talent contest and everyone is buzzing with excitement. Together, the friends attempt to discover their true talents with lots of laughter – and only a few hiccups - along the way!

With catchy sing-along songs and lots of audience interaction, Richard Scarry’s Busytown: Busytown Busy will bring out the showman in us all! Pre-show activities include crafts and scavenger hunt.

Tickets for this performance are $25 plus HST and applicable box office fees.
